WHX Dubai brings healthcare innovators and industry leaders together from around the world. With medical robotics development accelerating in the Middle East, Stäubli Robotics showcased the capabilities of the TX2‑60L MedX Ready, which advances
clinical development and strengthens collaborative partnerships through its precision, safety, and seamless integration with the Romed:X platform. WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health) is the largest network of healthcare events in the Middle East. In 2026, it drew participation from government agencies and regulators, hospitals and diagnostic centers, medtech and pharma companies, investors, and NGOs, creating a temporary global hub for healthcare innovation. It took place from February 9 to 12 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City Dubai, with more than 235,000 visitors and 4,300 exhibitors. The event highlighted fast-growing interest in robotics and smart technologies. Stäubli reflected this trend by showcasing its newest medical robot, the TX2-60L MedX Ready, as part of the French Pavilion, organised by Business France.

TX2-60L MedX Ready: High-Precision Medical Robotics on Display

Stäubli collaborates closely with specialised medical technology manufacturers worldwide to develop advanced robotic solutions for the healthcare sector. The TX2‑60L MedX Ready robot, launched in November 2025, is an ISO 13485-compliant six‑axis robotic arm engineered to support surgical, imaging, rehabilitation, and diagnostics workflows. It delivers high precision, cleanability, and safety in highly regulated clinical settings. “WHX Dubai confirmed that practitioner-centred, accurate, efficient, and data-ready robotics is now a strategic priority for health systems in the region,” said Olivier Mathonat, Medical Robotics Global Marketing Leader. “With TX2-60L MedX Ready, we offer the precision and cleanability clinicians expect, plus a development pathway that helps our partners scale faster.” The TX2‑60L MedX Ready is the foundation of the Romed:X platform, developed with design and engineering partner Conicio and SQI, a specialist in digital software and regulatory integration. This modular system supports early-stage medical robotics development, combining a medical-grade cart, controller, and software environment for rapid prototyping and workflow testing.

At WHX Dubai, Stäubli demonstrated the TX2-60L MedX Ready within a Romed:X configuration equipped with modules for navigation, tracking, and imaging. The setup featured MedXguiding, an intuitive manual-guidance mode that enables precise instrument control, along with the Atracsys fusionTrack 500 camera for high-accuracy optical tracking. Stäubli also showcased the platform’s IEC 62304-compliant software environment, including its software development kit and essential clinical applications, illustrating how Romed:X supports early prototyping and workflow validation.

Building Long-Term Partnerships in the Middle East

Following WHX Dubai, Stäubli is establishing long-term collaborations in the Middle East, building on its proven expertise in surgery, rehabilitation, imaging, and diagnostics. With MedX Ready, ISO 13485 compliance, and trusted partners, Stäubli is committed to advancing medical robotics, regionally and globally, and supporting innovative projects. Co-Create. Customize. Support. Stäubli’s differentiation lies in its meticulous attention throughout the product lifecycle. The company’s development teams work closely with startups and medical device manufacturers from the earliest stages of co-creation, shaping next-generation products and adapting robotic solutions to specific clinical and technical requirements through tailored parametrisation and risk analysis. This collaboration is supported by specialised medical robotics expertise and an ISO 13485-aligned ecosystem. After integration, Stäubli provides comprehensive lifecycle services, including maintenance, performance optimisation, safety features, and monitoring, ensuring each solution remains reliable, compliant, and aligned with evolving clinical needs. Stäubli Robotics supplies advanced robots utilised in medical equipment; as standalone products, its robots are not classified as medical devices. Rather, they are integral components that enhance the capabilities and productivity of healthcare professionals.
